HOW TO DO A FUNDRAISER
Here at Ellusionz Candles we assist your organization with raising funds and take the guesswork out of what will come next. We supply you with the sales materials, including full color brochures, and samples if required at a discounted price. When the forms arrive they are ready to use, as we keep our fundraiser as easy as possible. Along with the brochure, you may want to include information about your fundraising expectations. This will assure that sellers and their parents know when the fundraiser starts/ends, when all the order forms and money need to be turned back in to fundraising leader, and the expected delivery date.
We recommend allowing the sellers two weeks to take orders. All funds must be collected when customers place their orders, this is the responsibility of the seller and the seller's parent(s). Sellers then have three - five (3 -5) days to return money and orders to the fundraising leader. All orders forms need to be received by the turn in date to receive proper credit and prompt delivery. Our Tally Sheet will be included in your packet to total your order as well as your group's percentage of the total sales. Please keep the original order forms and send us copies of the originals.
EARNING POTENTIAL
Our advice is that your organization set a goal. (How much money does your group need/want to raise?) Quite a few organizations never figure out how much money they would like to raise, and then just wish for the best.
A plan of action will make your fundraiser be a success. Come up with individual goals and inform each seller the number of candles they need to sell to reach your overall group goal, then offer them a reward for reaching it.
The average fundraiser order is usually around 10 candles per seller, even though there will be orders where sellers sold more or less. A good example, your group has 100 sellers with an average of 10 candles per seller, that is 1000 candles. That could give your organization $3300-$4700 profit based on the fundraising program and type of candles you sold! You have lots of potential to make an impressive profit with quite a few sellers or even a smaller team of exceptional sellers.
DELIVERY OF YOUR CANDLES
Can things get any easier? Once you have turned your order in, you will receive an Estimated Date for Delivery. This date will generally be 2-3 weeks after placing the order with Ellusionz Candles. You receive your candles via UPS/FedEx if you are outside our delivery area. A fundraising consultant will contact you to explain all details of "How To" run a successful candle sale. When you receive your order it will be sorted by type of candle for easy sorting of each seller's order.
